100th Post Giveaway: Canning For A New Generation – A Giant Reader Thank You!

As I was sitting down to compose a post for today I realized that it would be my hundredth post! I just started this blog at the beginning of the year, and I’ve been blown away by the support of my readers.
So, to say thanks to all my readers who take the time to read, share and comment, I’m giving away a copy of one of my favorite canning and preserving books, Canning For A New Generation: Bold, Fresh Flavors for the Modern Pantry by Liana Kissoff.
My friend Fruit Lady turned me on to this book, which emphasizes less-sugar preservation and creative canning. I love the recipes and the presentation. It is one of those practical books that I can sit down an read for fun, even when there is no canning to be done.
Here are the rules:
To be entered to win Canning for a New Generation, leave a comment to this post. Winner will be decided by a random number drawing. The giveaway is open until Saturday, April 24th at 11:59 pm Pacific Time. Drawing for winner will take place Sunday, April 24th and will be announced Monday, April 25th.
Also:
This drawing is in no way sponsored or subsidized. I’m just excited to hit the 100-post mile mark and really grateful to everyone who takes the time to read my blog, so I’m going to buy one of you a great book.
Finally:
Some of you are reading and commenting from as far away as South Korea, Australia, the Philippines, Europe (tack så mycket and vielen Dank!) and beyond. I love you international readers, but if one of you enters and wins we may have to figure out an alternate prize that doesn’t involve shipping.
Thanks again for making the first hundred posts so much fun!
Edit, very late at night: I realized after I got very excited to do this giveaway that blogger totally punked me. I have 100 posts started including all the random drafts I’m still working on for ya’ll, but only 75 published. I’ve thought about this and decided I really don’t care – I’m still doing the giveaway and I’m still calling it the 100th Post Giveaway. Who’s really counting, anyway?
