This morning I was about to run to the store for my ‘pectin’ supply when I decided to look online for a way to make jelly/jam with out the pectin. I ran across you site and gave it a try with my load of plums. I have high hopes as I mixed to taste, added my ‘zing’, filled my amazing 6 sided reclaimed/reuse jars! too early to tell yet, even though I tried the cold plate idea, it was a little thin…
We may have a lot of plum syrup, but that is ok! I had fun! Thank you for sharing and I will be trying it again!
