Year Round Vegetable Harvest Presentation – Sat, February 2nd

Hi guys – sorry about the lack of posts this week. I’ve got two sick kids at home and a list of posts almost done as long as my arm.

But, I did want to share that I’ll be giving a presentation about year round vegetable gardening this Saturday, February 2nd, at 10 am in Edmonds, WA, just north of Seattle. The Edmonds Floretum Garden Club is hosting me, and this event is 100% free and open to the public.

After I yammer on about root veggies and brassicas and season extension  a member of the Floretum Garden Club who has been converting her ornamental garden to edibles will talk about making that transition, so there should be a lot of good tips for everyone.

If you are in the area, please do stop in and say hi. Bring your gardening questions and I’ll do my best to answer them.

A presentation about year round vegetable growing – how to achieve it and what to do with the harvest when you do. Come learn techniques for year round vegetable production right in your backyard and bring your questions for the Q&A.

Saturday, February 2nd 10 AM – 12 noon. I’ll be speaking from 10-11 AM, Danene Warnock will speak from 11-noon.

Hope to see you there!

How To Make Succession Planting and Year-Round Gardening Really Work
Grassfed vs. Organic Butter, And Which One Will Kill You Faster

  1. Hope your kids feel well soon and you enjoy giving the talk. Lucky people who are local enough to attend!

  2. Congrats and good luck! Wish I could hear your talk!

  3. Wish it could be a podcast! Or, if HBH [Home-Brew Husband, not HH, btw, that could be misconstrued as Howard Hughes or worse, Hubert Humphries!] Saves typing, anyway. I know you’ll do a great presentation!

  4. Fancy pants! I’d come but we have guests in town. Womp womp. But you never know! Break a leg!

  5. P.S. Printing out my Garden Planner now! Shiny! I’ll bring it to my friend Farmer Fels’ house tomorrow – he’s going to help me pick out seeds and plants.

  6. Wonderful presentation! Have always been a Summer gardener only…now I am inspired!

  7. That was great! I was at the very back, among the people standing for lack of chairs, and I still scribbled several pages of notes! Thank you so much.

  8. Please please have another talk in this area! Just discovered your blog and would love to come to a talk :)
